Financial Planning Assistant

Shelly joined Provisio in 2009 as a Client Service Associate, and transitioned to Financial Planning Assistant by 2013. Shelly is a dedicated liaison between the advisor and client, where she provides a broad range of support. She also operates as a general office manager and client transition specialist for Provisio. She excels at preparing documents for financial planning and client portfolio reviews. She assists with new clientele transition, using her signature service delivery and excellent follow-through practices.

After a long and productive career working with a leading Alaskan oil development firm in engineering, Shelly changed course to work in a more people-focused career of client service and account operations management.

Shelly acquired her Bachelor’s Degree of Math Sciences and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Geological Engineering both at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (Cum Laude). She has completed her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation participating in ongoing education, including completion of the Financial Specialist AdminU certificate with LPL Financial.

She is also a fourth generation Alaskan pursuing her dream of building a house in Big Lake off the grid. When not hard at work, Shelly enjoys curling up with her favorite science fiction books or discussing recent advances in Physics or amazing discoveries in Astronomy.
