All toner and ink cartridges are recycled through national mail back progams with Brother or HP. They refurbish and reuse, or recycle / downcycle the plastics and metals.

All paper, reports, note pads, and stickies are recycled through the Anchorage Waste Services recycling program. Paper with personal identifiable information is cross shredded first and also recycled.

Any drink items, such as soda cans or paper coffee cups (those that can be recycled) are recycled through the Anchorage Waste Services recycling curbside pickup program. Recycle stations are available in the office cabinet.

All end of life electronic items, such as printers, computers, and monitors are recycled. They are taken to Total Reclaim on Industry Way here in Anchorage. Clients are encouraged to Save a Tree and sign up for Paperless viewing of their statements, proxy voting forms, and tax documents. LPL Financial provides the AccountView service for going paperless and receiving all information online.

LPL Financial works to maximize paperless using DocuSign to reduce source paper consumption. We scan all forms and recycle any paper that is generated.

Our Provisio office reduces the thermostat setting and keeps the office cool on the weekends. No reason to heat a room that isn’t occupied. All computers and monitors have sleep functions enacted to reduce energy usage and go to sleep when not in use.
